Z-Slot screens are recommended in applications with a high occurrence of blinding, pegging, and slivers.

SLOTS

Slots improve screening capacity while decreasing blinding and plugging, and are especially effective when processing flats and slivers.

Straight slots are used when passing elongated material is not a problem and the desire is to pass near-sized material with an abundance of slivers.
